-Reality From the Producers of Project Runway, Top Chef is a competitive reality show on Bravo that pits chefs from around the country against each other in weekly challenges. Hosted by Padma Lakshmi, Top Chef sees the up and coming chefs evaluated (and eliminated) by expert judges. The chef that's left standing at the end of the season wins $100,000 and a feature in Food and Wine magazine.

Born and raised in a sheep farm, 29-year-old Mark learned a great deal in cooking by self-studying. This man from Invercargill, New Zealand left school at age 16 to work at a slaughterhouse. Shortly after, he left New Zealand and went on to travel around the world. He was employed in Melbourne and in Tokyo before finally landing a job in New York. For the past eight years, he's been working with Public Restaurant. He started out as a dishwasher and patiently worked his way up the ladder until he reached his dream position. He is now a sous chef for the famous restaurant.

Mark is a contestant for Top Chef Season 4.
