-Reality From the Producers of Project Runway, Top Chef is a competitive reality show on Bravo that pits chefs from around the country against each other in weekly challenges. Hosted by Padma Lakshmi, Top Chef sees the up and coming chefs evaluated (and eliminated) by expert judges. The chef that's left standing at the end of the season wins $100,000 and a feature in Food and Wine magazine.

Ilan Hall is a 24-year old line cook who resides in New York. He has been cooking professionally for just three years but claims that three years of cooking in New York is commensurate to 20 years anywhere else. He exudes a bold persona, being an expert debater and being incredibly talkative.

He became part of the reality cooking contest Top Chef. He claims that his specialty in Spanish cuisine will give him an edge in the competition. He is also one of the youngest contestants in the show.
