Three months ago, we reported that Project Runway
guru Tim Gunn
will be back to offer yet another batch of women some much-needed fashion guidance on Tim Gunn's Guide to Style
with the help of his new “fashion accomplice,” Gretta Monahan. Yesterday, Bravo finally announced a return date for the program's second season.
Season 2 of Tim Gunn's Guide to Style
is expected to kick off on Thursday, October 2 at 11pm ET/PT, before moving to its regular timeslot on Thursday, October 16 at 10pm.
Tim Gunn's Guide to Style
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
follows Gunn as he attempts to turn the fashion weary into sophisticated looking individuals through his book, Tim Gunn: A Guide to Quality Taste and Style
. As the new fashion accomplice, Monahan will guide the women's choices on shopping challenges.
Monahan, who serves as the replacement of Veronica Webb, has been featured in W Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Elle
and Marie Claire
for both her beauty and fashion advice. She is also the host of Gretta's Got It
fashion segment on WHDH-TV, Boston's NBC station, and appears as a “buddy” on The Rachael Ray Show.
"For years, I've been styling a range of clients from real women to red carpet celebrities both on and off-camera and in my experience, I have never encountered a show like this, which proves style is not superficial," Monahan said in a statement. "Guide To Style
is about complete transformations from the inside out. It requires hard work, total honesty and 100 percent commitment from the participants throughout the entire makeover process."
Gunn, who admits to being a fan of Gretta's for awhile now, couldn't be more pleased about his new co-star.
"I am absolutely crazy about Gretta and together she and I want every woman to achieve her perfect signature look," Gunn said. "It takes hard work and commitment to look good, but it should also be fun our hope is that we'll inspire women everywhere to put their best foot forward and with cute shoes, too!"
