Nathalie Combs, a blonde southern beauty, was running for the Miss Carolina Piedmont crown. She planned to walk away as the winner of the pageant with the help of her mother and her coach Darlene. The only problem was her mother’s tendency to monopolize the whole thing. They argued over things like breakfast, her gowns and her swimsuits. Plus, Darlene was worried that Nathalie might not perfect her tap dance presentation in time for the pageant. Nathalie ended up being crowned for the division, but did not win the entire pageant.

Nathalie was one of the beauty pageant contestants featured in MTV’s reality TV show, Tiara Girls.
