The Young and the Restless: November 26 Live Thoughts
The Genoa City hospital is a familiar site on The Young and the Restless these days.  Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) are coping with the heartbreaking news that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is still in a coma and Nick's parents Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Scott Thomas) can't decide on what to do for her.

Out in the hallway, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) tells Victor and JT (Thad Luckinbill) what is going to happen with the mediation hearing.  The court will appoint an advocate for Victoria, but the hearing has not been scheduled yet.  This makes Nikki, who thank heavens has finally gone to her hairdresser, hopeful that the waiting will give the baby more time to develop in utero.

Jack (Peter Bergman) reads a scathing op-ed in the newspaper to Sharon (Sharon Case).  He makes a jab at "online losers" who will "put aside their video games" to write in their negative comments about him.  Um, excuse me?  I take offense at that.

Gloria (Judith Chapman) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) write up statements to post online in attempts to bring Jack down further.

Sharon reminds Jack that he became senator because he wanted to do good, so he shouldn't get down on the negative press about his fraudulent ownership of Jabot.  He reads Gloria's post about it, not knowing that Gloria is the author.  She writes about how Ji Min's death didn't get a full investigation.  I guess The Young and the Restless is going back to corporate white-collar crimes.

A hospital administrator agrees to meet with Victor, JT and Michael.  Naturally, Victor threatens her with lawsuits, but JT appeals to her sympathy.  Victor calls the judge, against Michael's wishes, so Michael takes over with the talking.  Michael asks him to expedite the hearing, but this just serves to piss off the judge.

Brad (Don Diamont) suggests to Nikki that she should make herself scarce, so that the mediator can't serve her with the court summons.  If they can't find her, she won't know when to appear in court.  If she doesn't appear in court, then that will buy them time for the baby to continue developing in utero.  David Chow (Vincent Irizarry) doesn't think this is such a good idea and lays out a number of excellent arguments against this stunt, but Brad whispers in her other ear with other arguments.

JT picks a fight with Nick about letting Victoria die, until Phyllis intervenes and breaks up the site.

Gloria is still sending scathing emails against Senator Abbott to his office.  The thing is, the senate office can probably figure out that all of these emails are coming from the same IP address.

Jack is on the phone with the newspaper, but the conversation doesn't go his way.  The newspaper says that he can have a rebuttal in the paper as long as it is a paid ad.  Jack reads Gloria's emails and gets more and more upset.  Jack says that he hired a private investigator to look into Ji Min's death, but Sharon tells him that this can't get out into the public.  It would be PR suicide.

Dr. Webb tells Victor that Victoria's condition is worsening and that they must do the emergency C-section.  A court officer serves Victor with a summons, but nobody can find Nikki for her summons.

Kevin reminds Gloria that all of her anonymous emails can be traced back to her by the IP address.  Molly comes in, interrupting them for the third time today, overhearing Gloria talking about stolen laptops.  The project that Molly gives to Gloria was the last project that Ji Min approved before he died.

Jack and Sharon are eating lunch at the GCAC, but Jack is on the phone giving a statement to the press.  Sharon is doubtful that Victor really was responsible for Ji Min's death.  Jack minces no words in describing what he thinks of Victor.

Gloria crows to Jack about the editorials in the newspaper.

Nick finds out that Nikki is at Newman to avoid the court summons.  Phyllis understands what Nikki is doing.  Phyllis reminds Nick about the complications involved when Summer was born.

Victor goes over to Newman to yell at Nikki about why she is avoiding her summons.

Kevin gets a call on his cell while he's having lunch with Gloria.  It's Todd Scheller calling him back.

Jack is finally calming down about the editorials in the newspaper.  Ben calls him to inform him that the senate ethics committee is resuming their investigation.

Victor is really angry when he finds out that Nikki brought Brad into the decision-making process.  He gets even angrier when Brad announces that he is going to become the guardian of the fetus at the hearing.

Next on The Young and the Restless: Lily confides in Colleen about Cane, Heather informs Phyllis that she may be re-tried, Jill is happy about Jack's negative press.
