The Young and the Restless: November 15 Live Thoughts
The Young and the Restless begins at Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren's (Tracey Bregman) apartment.  They are rushing off the courthouse early to get ready for Phyllis' (Michelle Stafford) hearing.  Phyllis is at work.  Jack (Peter Bergman) and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) are heading out to the courtroom as well, but Phyllis can't go with them.  Daniel calls Phyllis' office phone from his cell, so that she'll be able to listen in at what's going on at the hearing.  Sharon (Sharon Case) tells Jack that she needs to go to the hospital because Victoria's (Amelia Heinle) baby might not be able to survive if her condition gets worse.

JT (Thad Luckinbill) is at the coffeehouse talking to Colleen (Tammin Sursok) about Victoria and the baby.  The fetus is only at 22 weeks, which gives him hope that the baby might be his instead of Brad's.

Brad (Don Diamont) and Nikki (Melody Scott Thomas) are at the hospital.  I must say that Nikki's hairstyle choices have gone from bad to worse.  Wasn't it just three weeks ago or so on The Young and the Restless when I was loving her soft waves?  Now, her hair is pulled back into a tight, harsh ponytail.  Combined with her lack of makeup, she is not looking her best.

Jack and Daniel meet Lauren and Michael at the courthouse.  But at work, Phyllis anxiously awaits Nick's call.  Instead of calling, he shows up at the door.  The start kissing, and when Nick hesitates that it's a bad idea, Phyllis locks the door and keeps kissing him.  They finally break off the kiss.  Phyllis pulls out a pillow that she made in prison arts and crafts class for Victoria.

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki are still at Victoria's bedside.  They talk about how Nikki is going to teach the baby how to play the piano.  Victor and Nikki are actually getting along here, but it's sad.

Sharon rushes to the hospital and asks Brad how things are going.  Brad confesses that he's having a hard time coping.  He's going online a lot, reading about all the bad stuff that could happen to Victoria, and Sharon asks him to have faith.

At the courthouse, right before the hearing is about to start, Daniel goes over to Heather (Vail Bloom) to make a last-ditch plea on behalf of Phyllis.  Michael tries to stop him, but Daniel pays no heed.  He pleads his case one last time that Phyllis is a good person and doesn't belong in jail.

Colleen and JT are back at the hospital.  They've brought coffee.  And they go in to Victoria's room to find that her blood pressure is still high but hasn't climbed any higher.  At the cafeteria, Sharon and Brad share a piece of cake.  Funny, the cafeteria looks a lot like the hotel up at Clear Springs.  Sharon is just being supportive here, but I think this is increasing Brad affection for her.  He holds her hand.

Nick tells Phyllis that it's a bad idea to listen in on the hearing because it's breaking the rules.  She gives in to temptation and answers the phone anyway.  At the courtroom, Daniel is not really trying to hide his cell phone at all.  Michael argues his legal mumbo jumbo about how the tape should not have been admissible in the original trial.  Michael argues that because one of the jurors changed her mind during the trial, he thinks that the judge from the lower bench should have declared it a mistrial.  The current judge calls for a 15 minute recess before he hears from Heather.

JT take over Victoria-sitting duties to let Colleen and Nikki get some food.  Out in the hall, Victor is on the phone with another specialist.  We only hear half of the conversation, but it doesn't sound good.

Court is about to reconvene.  Daniel calls Phyllis' phone as he enters the room, and the security guard notices this.  Please, can't he like put the phone in his pocket or something?  Be smart about it, Daniel!

Colleen tells Nikki that when she was in a coma, it took a while for her to wake up too.  Nikki said that Victoria was by Colleen's side during that time and willed her to wake up, and then she did.  In Victoria's room, JT feels the baby kicking in her belly, and says again that he wants the baby to play football.  Out in the hall, Victor fills in Sharon about the bad news he keeps getting from all the specialists he called.

Heather is beginning her oral arguments when the security guard busts Daniel for being on his cell phone.  The judge orders him to confiscate it and escort Daniel out of the room.  Lauren and Daniel are outside in the hall now; they call Phyllis from Lauren's phone.  Michael comes out after Heather's arguments to fill Lauren and Daniel in.

Nick says "I told you so" about how eavesdropping on the trial was a bad idea.  The phone rings, and it's Michael who thinks it went well.

Dr. Webb tells the Newmans and JT that at this point, there is nothing they can do except deliver the baby, or else Victoria might die, even though the probability of the baby surviving is very slim.  He needs a decision soon.

Next on The Young and the Restless: Gloria flirts with Jeffrey, David threatens Newman Enterprises about their loan, Victoria might lose her baby.
