Another week begins again on The Young and the Restless.  There's a lot going on, as usual, with disparate storylines continuing on and on.

Brad (Don Diamont) still has his eye on Sharon (Sharon Case).  Sharon, if you remember from last week on The Young and the Restless, has decided to stay with Jack (Peter Bergman) and give him another chance.  But Brad continues to make it clear that he does not approve of her choice.  In the conference room, with the door locked, he finally puts lays it all out there and tells her how he feels about her and kisses her.  She breaks off the kiss, and Jack almost immediately comes looking for her.  He's upset to find his wife behind locked doors with his most hated Brad.

And Daniel (Michael Graziadei), who has had his eye on the assistant DA Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) for the past month or two, finally decides to do something about it.  He asks her to have a casual dinner of turkey sandwiches at the coffeehouse with him.  She reluctantly agrees, but ends up having a pretty good time.

Amber (Adrienne Frantz) teases Daniel for his crush on Heather.  She also looks like she's coming up with a plan to cheat in the Faces of Jabot contest.

Meanwhile, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) desperately needs Jana (Emily O'Brien) to be released from prison.  He knows that she is ready to accept his marriage proposal and all he needs know is to spring her from the big house.  So he brings over a box of files to Heather's office that he hopes will be enough for Jana's release.

Victor's (Eric Braeden) involvement in the death of Ji Min Kim is really taking a toll on Nick (Joshua Morrow).  Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) goes over to Jack's to ask him whether he thinks Victor is really guilty.  She can't ignore all of the evidence piled against Victor and asks Nick to be objective.

Gloria (Judith Chapman) is still being blackmailed by Jeffrey Bardwell (Ted Shackelford).  She's trying to keep this a secret from Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman), and in fact, is setting up a family dinner at which Jeffrey plans on proposing to Gloria.  However, Michael snoops out that Gloria wrote Jeffrey a check for $50,000, and demands to know what that was for.

At the dinner, Jeffrey finally delivers the news.  He announces their engagement, much to the consternation of all the Fishers.

Next on The Young and the Restless: Victor warns Sharon that Jack is a very bad man, Gloria has a proposition for Jeffrey, Nick tells Brad to leave Sharon alone.
