CBS is on the look out for one talented actress who will be selected to travel to Hollywood and appear in an episode of
The Young and the Restless. In line with this, the show is holding a screen test at the Ritz-Carlton in St. Louis, Missouri to accommodate hopefuls who would want to get a taste of the limelight while working with some of residents of Genoa City.
Women 18 to 35 years old and eligible to work in the United States are invited on Friday, November 14 in an open casting call staring at 9am until 4:30pm. Subsequently, there will be a callback for participants who will be advancing the second round the following day.
Meanwhile, fans can look forward to several upcoming guest stars to grace
The Young and the Restless next month. Michael Fairman, who is credited for his roles on
Sunset Beach, Ryan's Hope and
Another World, is joining the cast as Murphy, a character who will reportedly help Mage with her drinking problem.
Apart from the living, the departed will also resurface on
The Young and the Restless. Jerry Douglas is expected to appear as John's ghost on November 7, while Raya Meddine will also return for some for some ghostly scenes as Sabrina next month.
Also revisiting Genoa City in November are Tricia Cast as Nina, Beau Kazer as Brock, Marla Adams as Dina, Beth Maitland as Traci, Julianna McCarthy as Liz, and Michael Damian as Danny Romalotti. As of this moment, there is no official word yet from the network regarding this casting scoop. However, word on the street is that these old timers will be dropping by Genoa City to attend a funeral.
Whose funeral could it be? Stay tuned for more updates on
The Young and the Restless to find out.
