On today's episode of The Young and the Restless, Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) comes back to Nikki's (Melody Thomas Scott) after her meeting with Victor (Eric Braeden).  She had agreed yesterday on The Young and the Restless to join them in their lawsuit against Victor, and she offers an idea to make their case stronger: ask Jack (Peter Bergman) to join them in the suit.  Nikki and David hate the idea.

Noah (Hunter Allan) asks Sharon (Sharon Case) and Jack whether he can invite his friend Sam over for a few days in January, but Sharon and Jack make vague excuses that they won't know their schedule in January.  When Noah leaves, Sharon says that she's going to move out,but she's not sure it's the right time to tell Noah.

Paul (Doug Davidson) meets JT (Thad Luckinbill) in the coffeehouse and congratulates him on being a dad.  He advises his son to enjoy fatherhood because it goes so fast.  Of course, he's thinking of Heather (Vail Bloom), who is also at the coffeehouse.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) come home from a workout.  Daniel (Michael Graziadei) is babysitting Summer while they were out, and then leaves to get a double nonfat latte.  Phyllis and Nick are impressed with how well Daniel has been able to turn his life around and wish that Nikki and Victor would follow suit.

Paul tells JT about his secret daughter, and JT is shocked.

Sharon goes over to the tack house to tell Nick and Phyllis that she's moving out at the end of the year.  She's not filing for divorce, she just needs some time and space to work things through.  Sharon asks them for their help for when she tells Noah about the move.  She also says that she's moving back into her and Nick's old house, but she hasn't told Nikki yet.

Jack meets with Nikki, David and Katherine.  They all tell him about the lawsuit and ask him to join them.  They've drawn up all the paperwork.

Victor and Neil go over the insurance paperwork.  I'm not going to recap all the stuff about insurance.  Victor tells Neil that the police are on his tail again because they found Ji Min's blood in his gym bag.

JT prods Paul to go over and talk to Heather.  She tries to brush him off, but he persists, asking her if she'd like to join him and Maggie for Christmas.  She shuts him down.

Nick goes over to the ranch to see Victor.  He asks Victor if he has time to build the crib for Reed.  Victor rips his son a new one when Nick brings up the drilling in Clear Springs.  Victor is going to be a lonely, lonely man if he continues to treat people like this.  Meanwhile, Nikki goes over to Phyllis' and the two women make peace.

Jack goes home to tell Sharon all about Nikki's lawsuit, and asks Sharon what she thinks he should do.  She tells him to be honest because deceiving people never pays.

Heather gives Daniel a bill for the repairs for her car.  She makes snippy comments, and he says that she's a judgmental bitch.  Daniel tells her his sob story about how Phyllis abandoned him and his father didn't have time to raise him, but he still turned out okay and has a good relationship with his mother now.  This makes Heather thoughtful.

Maggie (Lauren Tammy) and Paul walk into the GCAC.  Maggie sees David Chow there, and asks him if he saw Victor at the club on the day of Ji Min's death.

Sharon goes over to her old house to see Nikki and tells her that she and Noah will be moving back in.  Nikki isn't happy at the prospect of being Sharon's roommate, however.

Heather apologizes to Daniel and asks him to tell her more about Phyllis and how they reconciled.  It was simple: he just gave her another chance.

Sharon tells Nikki that it would be really good for Noah to have Nikki there every day, but Nikki is still uncomfortable because the two women don't really like each other.  Eventually, they decide to become roommates and clink their mugs of tea.

Phyllis goes to check on Jack.  Phyllis tells Jack that about Sharon's living arrangements with Nikki.  She posits that they'll kill each other and Sharon will be back home in no time.

Phyllis and Nick are about to get busy, but they are interrupted by Daniel knocking at the door.  He came over to give his mom a hug, and she calls him an awesome boy.

Maggie and Paul suggest that they order in and pretend to cook for Christmas.  Heather comes by and accepts Paul's invitation to Christmas dinner.  Daniel's speech about giving people second chances must have worked.

Jack tells Nikki, David and Katherine that he's in on the lawsuit.

Victor tells Neil that he's going to go after anyone who opposes him and make them pay.
