Lily (

Amber (
Adrienne Frantz) comes home from what looks like a huge shopping trip. Daniel (
Michael Graziadei) is shocked by all her spending. She shows Daniel all the Christmas decorations that she bought, which include dancing penguins. Leave it to Amber to blow 700 thousand dollars on tacky toys. Daniel catches sight of a wad of Benjamins, which Amber explains are from the pre-sales of her Fenmore's CD.
At the gym, Karen offers to spot Lily. Um, girlfriend is benching a combined wait of ten pounds. Even though she does have pencil arms, I hardly think she needs a spot. Anyway, it's just an excuse for Karen to girl-talk with Lily about Cane.
Neil advises Victor to settle with the insurance company and accept their offer. Victor obviously doesn't like that idea.
Nikki tells Katherine that she's going to sue Victor, and asks Katherine to join her in the lawsuit. Today is a good hair day for Nikki. Divorce seems to suit her. Katherine promises to consider, but only after she talks to Victor first.
Neil goes to the gym after his meeting with Victor. He tells Karen about Nikki's lawsuit. Then he asks her to spend Christmas with the Winters family. Karen says that he has to run this by his kids first.
Amber shows Daniel her website, and he's still perplexed because it looks like the sales she has made from the website doesn't match her current spending habits. She makes vague excuses about servers and this and that. Daniel asks Amber to spend Christmas with him and his family, but Amber is holding out for an invitation from Katherine.
Katherine runs into Cane in the GCAC dining room, and she tells him about Victor's cold-hearted plans. She calls him up and asks to speak to him.
Lily and Devon (
Bryton McClure) are at the coffeehouse when Cane happens to walk by. Devon asks him to join them, but Cane brusquely excuses himself. Lily suddenly leaves as well. Amber, who is working, tells Cane that she got him a Christmas present and wants to know when she can drop by to give it to him. Cane tells her that he can't accept anything from her and not to stop by.
Nikki shows David (Vincent Irizzary) a painting that she bought for Victoria's room. David shows her the paperwork that the lawyers drew up for the lawsuit. They are asking for half a billion dollars! Woah. Nikki is impressed.
Katherine goes over to the ranch to ask Victor not to call in Nikki's loans.
Amber brings Devon a refill on his coffee and gives him an apple muffin on the house too. She asks him about what he's listening to and how his mp3 player works with his cochlear implant. They make small talk about music and Beethoven.
Nikki reads through the paperwork and sees that the lawyers and David want Victor to be made accountable to every single thing that went wrong with the accident. Nikki is having second thoughts. She feels bad for Victor, and wishes they can find some other way to deal with Victor.
Katherine tells Victor that he is calling in Nikki's loans to punish Nikki. But Victor doesn't change his mind. He's not backing down.
Amber hovers over Devon, trying to get him to check out her website and her CDs. She wants to get together and make some music. He reluctantly agrees.
Katherine goes over Nikki and David with the bad news that Victor won't change his mind. Katherine agrees to join in the lawsuit.
Lily comes back to the coffeehouse to find Devon and Amber laughing together. Devon asks her to spill it about what's going on with Cane. Neil comes by and asks them if it's alright if Karen spends Christmas with them. They agree.
Det. Maggie Sullivan (Tammy Lauren) arrives at the ranch. Victor tries to make her go away, but she wants to ask him about how her pressured Ji Min Kim. She won't go away. Victor's getting it from all sides today on
The Young and the Restless.

David gives Nikki a pep talk about their lawsuit. Nikki says that she can be as ruthless as Victor can be.
Maggie tells Victor that DNA evidence has placed Victor at the scene of Ji Min's death. Traces of Ji Min's blood were found in Victor's gym bag. Victor gets furious and tells her to get the hell out. He can be kind of scary.
