Biography

Doug Davidson was born on the 24th of October, 1954 in Glendale, California. He is an Emmy Award nominated actor who played the role of private investigator Paul Williams on CBS' The Young and the Restless. In 1994, he hosted a syndicated version of the game show The Price is Right, however, the show was canceled after its first season. In 1984, he was married to actress Cindy Fisher, who became the mother of his two children, Calyssa and Caden.

Paul Williams is portrayed by Doug Davidson in CBS' The Young and the Restless. Paul is the son of police detective Carl Williams with homemaker Mary Williams. He used to be involved with a number of women including stripper Nikki Reed, prostitute Cindy Lake and April Stevens, who later mothered his daughter, Heather. He then got involved with Lauren Fenmore whom he subsequently married. After their divorce, he got involved with Cassandra Rawlins, the wife of his friend, George. When George mysteriously got murdered, Paul became the prime suspect, thus he faked his suicide so he could go into hiding. He was eventually cleared, thus allowing him to reunite with Cassandra, who was later killed in a car accident.
