Amelia Heinle, who was born on March 17, 1973 in Phoenix, Arizona, is best known as a soap opera actress appearing in a number of shows. She first appeared in Loving as Stephanie Brewster in 1993 and moved on to its spin off The City, where she was nominated for a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Female Newcomer. In 1995, she married Loving co-star and on screen love interest Michael Weatherly and had a son with him. Two years later, the two divorced. 2001 saw Heinle going back to work on soap operas, appearing in
All My Children as Mia Saunders. A year later she joined the cast of CBS' The Young and the Restless, playing Victoria Newman. She married her co-star Thad Luckinbill in 2007.
Victoria Newman is played by Amelia Heinle in the soap opera The Young and the Restless. Victoria is the eldest daughter of the wealthy Victor Newman and his wife Nikki. She grew up to be a passive yet strong-willed woman who got involved with a number of men such as Ryan McNeil, whom she met at her father's company. The two fell madly in love and on the day of their wedding, Ryan's psychotic former wife Tricia tried to kill Victoria. Tricia ended up shooting Ryan instead, because he tried to save Victoria's life. This left her very devastated. Victoria's next love interest was Cole Howard, with whom she had a baby with. She raised the child with Neil Winters, a man she had a short romantic relationship with. The baby died shortly after birth.
