Having recently saved the world from global meltdown and brought a "happily ever after" to a fairytale-themed murder spree, what could possibly be next for the detectives of Castle? Keep reading to learn a whole bunch of Castle spoilers for upcoming episodes.
BombshellsCastle hasn't had a good bomb scare in awhile. But all of that is going to change by the end of March. Episode 19 of
Castle season 4, called "47 Seconds," will feature a case that comes in the aftermath of a bomb explosion.
The episode will concern an anti-Wall Street protest that turns deadly when a bomb explodes, claiming several victims. Guest stars appearing in the episode include
Good Wife actor Tim Guinee (as reported by
TVLine) as an activist who witnesses the bombing and
FlashForward and
Perfect Couples star Christine Woods (according to
TVGuide.com) as Leann Peach, an ambitious reporter whose career gets a boost when the bomb explodes during her live broadcast.
While the bombing is definitely a darker theme than many we see on
Castle, there is a silver lining.
Castle executive producer Andrew W. Marlowe told
TVGuide.com that the tragedy may push the show's detectives into new directions. "It does make Castle and Beckett start questioning what they're doing in life," Marlow explained.
Could the questioning be answered with greater honesty and/or a move toward a relationship?
Bring on the BritsNo one does a murder mystery quite like the British.
It is thus fitting that episode 20 of
Castle season 4 will feature several guest actors playing the part of British people of interest in a murder case. The episode, called "The Limey," is scheduled to air in April.
Charles Shaughnessy (Maxwell Sheffield on
The Nanny) announced that he would be appearing on
Castle via a video posted to
Twitter. The video also includes a very cute dog named Barrington.
On
Castle, Charles Shaughnessy will (according to
TVGuide.com) play the character of Nigel Winthrop, the British Consulate's Deputy General. Will he have something to hide?
Also appearing in "The Limey" is Brett Tucker (
Spartacus: Vengeance).
EW.com reports that Tucker will be playing Simon Hunt, an attractive Scotland Yard detective searching for whomever murdered his friend's daughter.
Will Hunt be hot enough to attract the attention of one Kate Beckett? Could jealousy be in Castle's future?
Killer DancingIf the March 19 premiere of
Dancing with the Stars season 14 isn't enough dancing for you, don't worry. The episode of
Castle airing that same night has you covered.
TVGuide.com reports that the March 19
Castle episode will revolve around a televised dance competition and the murder of one of its contestants.
Lauralee Bell (
The Young and the Restless) will guest-star in the episode as Pam Francis, a diva with a decidedly retro look. "She has the huge Morgan Fairchild hair and the fuchsia-colored sequined dress and the big fuchsia lips and the massive rhinestone necklace," Bell told TVGuide. "And she's over the top clueless."
The other two judges on the
Castle episode will be a Simon Cowell-type fellow who runs everything and a man who Bell described as "totally Piers Morgan, only French."
Will Castle and Beckett get a chance to strut their stuff? We can only hope.
Castle airs Mondays at 10pm on ABC.
