Gillian Anderson was best known for her role on
The X-Files. As special agent Dana Katherine Scully, she worked out of a cramped basement office at FBI headquarters to explore unsolved cases with partner special agent Fox William "Spooky" Mulder. Unlike her FBI partner, she was depicted to be more skeptical in the supernatural, and believed on what science can prove. She won an Emmy, a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award for her outstanding performance on the award-winning series.
