The Wire

-Drama The Wire is a sprawling urban police drama, set in the mean streets of a drug-riddled Baltimore where the cycle of misery and poverty is hopeless and detectives do their best to stay ahead and grapple with the situation they're given. The Wire has the benefit of being on HBO and can, as a result, be as graphic in nature as it wants to be.

Deirdre Lovejoy was born on June 30, 1962. The Abliene, Texas native started acting at an early age. Aside from being a thespian, Deirdre also dedicated considerable time to study Fine Arts extensively; she garnered a Bachelor's degree from the University of Evansville then went on to get her Masters from Tisch School of Fine Arts in New York University in 1987. She is currently starring in HBO's police drama series, The Wire.

Rhonda Pearlman is Baltimore's forefront Assistant State's Attorney in the narcotics division. Her profound grasp of surveillance law and her discipline when it comes to working on legal cases made her a very valuable asset for her team. She indulges on an on-and-off affair with Jimmy McNulty, which was later discovered by his wife.
