Rob Corddry Biography:
Born on February 4, 1971 in Weymouth, Massachusetts, Rob Corddry is a graduate of both Weymouth High School and University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he originally majored in journalism, but after only two days, shifted to English. During his second year, he spent most of his free time performing in several of his school’s productions, some of which were Torch Song Trilogy, Ten Little Indians, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Reckless. Some time after he graduated, he headed to New York City, where he initially worked as a security guard at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and as an employee of a local Mexican restaurant. He received his improve training from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, and was part of the comedy groups “Naked Babies” and “Third Rail Comedy.” In 2002, he hit celebrity status when he became a correspondent for the politically-motivated comedy show The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. He left the show after four years and went on to pursue other projects. His other acting credits include appearing in the films Old School and Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story, and in the television shows
Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development. Currently, Corddry is busy starring in the FOX comedy series, The Winner.
Glen Abbott is played by Rob Corddry on the television series The Winner. Glen is already in his thirties, but is still living with his parents. His immaturity is only put to shame when his old girlfriend, Allison, comes back to town and makes him realize that it’s never too late for anything, even if it means becoming an adult after thirty years of living like a child.
