KaDee Strickland Biography:
Katherine Dee “KaDee” Strickland was born on December 14, 1977 in Blackshear, Georgia. She has two older siblings, and was brought up in Patterson, Georgia. She worked at a local farm as a tobacco picker for eight years, and when she got to watch the Woody Allen flick, Annie Hall, Strickland discovered her passion for acting. When she was in high school, she joined a one-act play and was enamored with everything that had to do with acting. After she graduated from high school, she went on to study at the University of Arts in Philadelphia. While she was trying to complete her studies, Strickland took on two jobs, one at a local restaurant, where she worked as a part-time waitress, and another at a casting agency, where she was an intern. Upon acquiring her Fine Arts Degree, she then trained with acting coach Maggie Flanagan in New York City and in 2003, relocated to Los Angeles, California. Strickland’s acting credits include The Sixth Sense, The Sterling Chase, Girl, Interrupted, Diamond Men, Anaconda; Hunt for the Blood Orchid, The Grudge, Bomb the System,
Law& Order: Criminal Intent ,
All My Children , and The Street Lawyer. Currently, she is cast in a starring role in the television series The Wedding Bells.
Annie Bell is portrayed by KaDee Strickland in the television series, The Wedding Bells. Annie is the middle child in a trio of girls. She is busy managing the family business, The Wedding Palace, with her two sisters and the job entails them to constantly work with demanding brides and their families.
