The War at Home Edginess is fine, but edgy for the sake of edgy is a death wish. The War at Home, starring a limited Michael Rappaport, is FOX's attempt to recreate what they had with Married...with Children for a decade. The similarities are there on the surface, but while Married...with Children complimented it's political incorrectness with genuine hilarity, The War at Home simply isn't funny. Even worse, The War at Home is, at times, offensively unfunny.
