Christina Aguilera makes more than all of her fellow fella Voice coaches put together: The Hollywood Reporter reports that Xtina pulls in $225,000 per
Voice episode, while Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine take away $75,000 a piece. Take that, the gender wage gap. Their story also says John Mayer was originally considered as a coach, and next season, the blind auditions will likely jump from two episodes to
five or six.Xtina and Adam have "Moves Like Jagger": The rival coaches, who claim all that "tension" are just signs of fun, friendly competition, will make good on that claim and
perform Maroon 5's new single together on the June 21 episode of The Voice. Christina is also featured on the studio version of the single, which, like all the
Voice performances, will be available on iTunes after the episode.
Blake Shelton on Leno: Blake Shelton is having a great summer. Not only is he a newlywed, but his job as a coach on
The Voice has opened him up to a whole new fanbase. I say that because I went from not really knowing who he is, to considering him my favorite
Voice coach. He's just so down to earth and nice! Watch him be down to earth and nice while talking his beauty pageant past, his wedding attire, and of course, how much he loves
The Voice.
Preview Cee Lo's New Puppet Talk Show, Talking to Strangers: Blake
may be having a great summer, but Cee Lo is having a great
year. And
he's continuing that great year with his new show for FUSE, which, as
far as I can tell, is a mixture of interviews, musical performances and
segments involving puppets.
Talking to Strangers premieres June 22.
