The Battle Rounds of The Voice
season 4 conclude this week Monday and Tuesday at 8pm on NBC. Half the
battles are done, half are yet to come, and coaches Adam Levine and
Blake Shelton each have one Steal left, while Usher has both of his
Below you can watch two of the battles coming up, one from Team Adam and one from Team Usher.
First up, Adam pits folk duo Midas Whale against Beale Street musician Patrick Dodd to perform Elvis Presley's "Burning Love." Duos don't typically do well in the battle rounds, and after watching this one, I can understand why. It's hard for a duo to mesh well with a solo artist without looking lost, and while I prefer Midas Whale in general, I think Dodd could win this battle.
Second, Usher puts his final team member, Jessica Childress, up against Usher's very own Mini-Me, Vedo. They perform Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven." I'm not very impressed with Vedo's singing, but Usher might disagree.
What do you think of these two battles? Will Midas Whale become the second duo this season to move on? Will any of these losers get stolen by another coach? Find out when The Voice
's final two battle rounds air Monday and Tuesday at 8pm.
