The 16-member teams of The Voice
season 3 are set and now it's time for the Battle Rounds to begin. Each
coach will have one singer making it to the finale, and while there is
an option to steal battle losers from other teams this year, it's never
too early to try to predict who will win.
Showdown: Vote for Your Favorite from Team Blake>>
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
Blake Shelton's team is heavy on country AND women. There are only six men and 11 women on his team, including the mother-daughter duo 2Steel Girls. He also has the three oldest singers of the entire season with 46-year-old Rudy Parris, 42-year-old Terisa Griffin and 44-year-old 2Steel Girls mom Allison Steel, as well as two singers in their 30s.
So who has what it takes to go all the way and possibly be Blake Shelton's second champion? Here are my top picks.Frontrunner: Gracia Harrison
You have to give the edge to a country singer, and this bubbly 18-year-old blonde yodeler seems like Blake's best bet. She's unique, fun and a great singer, all of which could get her to the end.Strong Contenders: Terisa Griffin and Cassadee Pope
Terisa has a big voice and a big attitude. It will be fun to see her interact with Blake, and on a team filled with pretty young white country girls, she stands out. Cassadee has the experience (a previous record contract), and that could prove invaluable. The Unknown: Lelia Broussard
She was one of four singers on Team Blake who didn't get a full audition, so it's anyone's guess how she'll do, but Blake said this singer/songwriter reminds him of his wife, Miranda Lambert, which bodes well for her chances of success.
What do you think of Team Blake? Do you agree that Gracia Harrison has the best chance to win out of the group of 16? Or did I overlook a singer who will steal the show? The Voice
