The 16-member teams of
The Voice
season 3 are set and now it's time for the Battle Rounds to begin. Each
coach will have one singer making it to the finale, and while there is
an option to steal battle losers from other teams this year, it's never
too early to try to predict who will win.
Showdown: Vote for Your Favorite from Team Adam>>Adam Levine has assembled the most gender neutral group of contestants with eight men and eight women. Most are in their early 20s, with only one contestant older than 30 (34-year-old Nicole Nelson) and a handful of teenagers (the youngest being 15-year-old Adanna Duru).
So who has what it takes to go all the way and possibly be Adam Levine's second champion? Here are my top picks.
Frontrunner: Bryan KeithThe very first member of Team Adam, Keith was one of only five singers to get all four coaches to turn around. His rich voice and natural charisma make him an obvious frontrunner as his audition showed he has many tools in his arsenal. Not only do I think he's Adam's top pick, I think he just might win the whole thing.
Strong Contenders: Benji and Kayla NevarezBenji's rock star scream was memorable and could make him a dark horse. Kayla is a young diva-in-training, telling Adam they need to win this. You can't argue with her drive and passion. I expect big things from both of them.
The Unknown: Adanna DuruShe was one of only three singers on Team Adam who didn't get a full audition segment, so it's tough to tell with her. But she's only 15 and has a great and unique look that might appeal to younger viewers. It's hard to tell how these quick auditioners will do, but she's my pick for the one with the most potential.
What do you think of Team Adam? Do you agree that Bryan Keith has the best chance to win out of the group of 16? Or did I overlook a singer who will steal the show?
