It looks like The Voice is trying to up the entertainment factor in their final weeks. In a new twist announced on Friday, the show revealed there will be an instant elimination after tonight's live performance episode. After Teams Blake and Christina perform, the two coaches will choose one of their four finalists to go home immediately.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

Perhaps due to the high caliber of last chance performances in last Tuesday's elimination episode (Adam in particular voiced distress that the singers hadn't sung as well in their actual live performances), NBC has decided to raise the stakes for their Monday night live performances. After one performer is sent home on Monday night, the remaining three will face elimination on Tuesday. The artist with the most of America's votes will be announced safe, while the remaining two will have to sing a new last chance song to convince Blake and Christina that they deserve to go onto the semifinals. After Tuesday night, Blake and Christina will be left with two semifinalists each. Next week, coaches Adam and Cee Lo will follow the same process.

In addition to the regular live performances and surprise instant eliminations, Blake and Christina will each perform with their teams and Adam will perform with Maroon 5 in the premiere performance of their single "Payphone" (the first release from their upcoming fourth album "Overexposed"), featuring Wiz Khalifa.

On TOP of all that, Justin Bieber will be premiering the music video for his latest single "Boyfriend," as well as sharing a "very special surprise" (any guesses as to what that might be, Bielebers?) There will also be a performance by British boy band The Wanted, who recently found smashing success with their first single "Glad You Came."

I'm not sure how they're going to manage to fit all of that musical, celebrity-filled goodness into a two-hour episode, but it promises for an exciting week on The Voice. Check out the clip below and vote for who you think will be sent home tonight in the twist instant eliminations.

Then watch the live performance episode tonight at 8pm on NBC and Tune In on the BuddyTV Guide App so you can chat with other fans during the episode via Facebook and Twitter!
