Well, this is it everyone. We’ve come to the end of the road for NBC’s The Voice and tonight, either Jake Worthington, Christina Grimmie or Josh Kaufman will be named The Voice of season 6!

Update: The Voice Season 6 Results: And the Winner Is…>>>

This is a rather diverse trio of vocalists, something for everyone. The iTunes voting has been crazy since Monday’s final performances as fans have been making purchases of $1.29 singles. Clearly, we know how important it is to download, download and download — all season — but this last-minute push just shows how successful this voting method is, even if there are gripes.

The Voice Recap: The Final 3 Perform>>>

When voting ended at noon Eastern, here is how the charts played out up to #100 (older performances still charting have been included)

#3 Christina “Can’t Help Falling in Love”

#7 Jake (with Blake Shelton) “A Country Boy Can Survive”

#8 Christina (with Adam Levine) “Somebody That I Used to Know”

#9 Jake “Don’t Close Your Eyes”

#11 Josh (with Usher) “Every Breath You Take”

#16 Josh “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours”

#19 Josh “Set Fire to the Rain”

# 41 Jake “Heaven”

#42 Christina “Wrecking Ball

#60 Josh “All of Me”

#61 Josh “I Can’t Make You Love Me”

#90 Christina “I Won’t Give Up”

Why Jake Worthington Will Win

I don’t think Jake “deserves” to win, although if you’re in the finals, any of the three deserve it. But which of his performances has been a Top 5 performance of the season? Can’t name any off the top of my head. He stuck to what he’s good at and played the part of humbled wide-eyed country boy well.

Jake hit the top 10 with three songs for the finale, the most out of the finalists, but he only hit that elusive spot just once before that — last week. It’s as if voters recognized Jake hasn’t had a strong iTunes showing and went on a frenzy for the final voting period.

There’s also the so-called “country vote” that could very well propel Jake to the top, and no one would be surprised. I find it interesting that Jake performed a song called “A Country Boy Can Survive” with Blake. Is it a subtle message to America?

Why Christina Grimmie Will Win

She could not have had a more memorable finale song, as her approach was the opposite to Josh’s with her “less is more” version. Two of her songs for the finale hit the top 10, but more important, she has regularly been charting well on iTunes all season.

However, she was on the verge of being eliminated just last week, and who has gone on to the win the show after those circumstances?

Why Josh Kaufman Will Win

After the Adele performance, it’s difficult to come up with concrete reasons. I can applaud the fact that he left everything out there, but man, it was just too much and his voice did not hold up. It was distracting, especially coming on the heels of Christina’s rendition.

Besides that however, he’s been a consistent force all season — all after almost being eliminated. It’s hard to imagine he might not even have been here. He’s also been loved on iTunes throughout the season, although he failed to make the top 10 in the final week.

Who Will Win The Voice season 6?

Christina Grimmie will be The Voice. Maybe the coaches didn’t know it during the blind auditions, but for those who knew her history on YouTube, you could see the likelihood of making it to the end from day one. The show likely wants her to win — desperately — because she’s commercially ready. Despite the popularity, The Voice likely wants someone to get on the Kelly Clarkson/Carrie Underwood level of past American Idol winners.

Thanks for following the predictions and making your votes all season! The Voice will air with a special at 8pm before finale festivities start at 9pm. Expect performances from Robin Thicke, Coldplay, Ed Sherran, Tim McGraw and OneRepublic.
