With its major premiere date right after the Super Bowl, The Voice wants to be the big hit of 2012. But on Monday, the Voice coaches -- Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine -- want us to party like it's 1999. Before getting into another two-hour round of blind auditions, the four celebri-coaches will perform a Prince medley to kick off the show's second episode.

Last season, the chair-spinning stars put on a Queen medley that failed to really rock us -- but we've got to give them points for consistency. First Queen, and now Prince. It's only a matter of time before we hear them do The King, right?

A commenter on EW.com claims to have been in the audience when the coaches filmed the medley, and says the song choices broke down this way:

Christina Aguilera: "1999"
Adam Levine: "I Wanna Be Your Lover"
Cee Lo Green: "Little Red Corvette"
Blake Shelton: "Kiss"

The commenter also said that Blake's rendition of "Kiss" was "the best one, believe it or not."

Well, whether we believe it or not, we'll find out on Monday night. Watch The Voice after the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 5, and then tune in for the judges' Prince medley at 8pm on Monday, February 6 on NBC.
