The preview for the next episode of The Vampire Diaries makes it look like it's all about Tyler, Mason and the rise of the werewolf. But there's a lot more going on, including a road trip with Damon, Elena and Alaric, who finally returns after being tragically absent from the first two episodes.

In the new clip from the third episode of season 2, "Bad Moon Rising," Damon, Elena and Alaric are in the car talking about one of the key questions from the premiere: Did Damon know Jeremy was wearing the magic ring when he killed him?



In addition, check out the extended promo that promises lots of shirtless Mason Lockwood and tons of werewolfy goodness.
