WARNING: Considering the title of this article, one might take the presence of The Vampire Diaries spoilers as a given. But some people are dumb. This warning is for them.


What is the title of the Vampire Diaries season 4 premiere?

According to a report from TVGuide.com, the Vampire Diaries season 4 premiere will be called "Growing Pains."

When we stop to consider all of the changes that the premiere will have to deal with -- Elena is a new vampire, Bonnie has gone over to the Dark Side, Klaus has taken up residence in Tyler's body, the Gilberts are (again) without a viable guardian -- this title makes perfect sense. But this is The Vampire Diaries. The title will definitely have a few more references, references we won't understand until the episode airs.


Hot Vampire Sex! Woo!

Now, I know you all tune in for the carefully crafted dialog and storytelling of The Vampire Diaries. You couldn't care less about the hot bodies. But, just in case there is a superficial reader or two, I should probably mention that we've been promised sex in The Vampire Diaries season 4.

Vampire sex.

Hot vampire sex.

And yes, Elena will be involved in this. The Vampire Diaries executive producer Julie Plec told TVGuide.com that Elena would have her "first hot vampire sex" with one of the guys on the show. Plec didn't give a timeline or a specific name for this though. We can only hope it will happen sooner rather than later in the season.


The Sources of Rebekah's Damage

We all know that Rebekah is one messed up girl. Even for a vampire. Why exactly? The answers may lie 900 years in the past -- episode 4 of The Vampire Diaries season 4 will give us a look at Rebekah's origins back in the day.

The damage is probably more than just Rebekah's mommy issues, daddy issues, Klaus issues, inability to ever make it to a dance, vampire bloodlust, etc. Or maybe those are enough?


One More Lamb to the Slaughter

There will be a lot of fresh faces in Mystic Falls this season. Considering the town's death rate, this may be necessary. Several of the new characters have already been announced, but we have a new one for you now!

According to E!Online, the show is looking to cast a recurring character by the name of Hayley. A girl with some sort of history with Tyler, Hayley will be beautiful, sexy, nurturing, protective and tough.

The part -- which may or may not be a semi-replacement for human Elena, based on the description -- has not yet been cast.
