I recently stopped by AOL's popular television podcast
DVR Divas.
The show is an overall review of the fun and crazy shows on TV, and
this week I stopped by to offer up my unique and very compulsive love
of TV.
If you don't know, I watch A LOT of TV. Basically, I'm like one of those people on the A&E documentary series
Horders, only with television. I watch more than 50 shows every week on a regular basis, everything from cable gems like
Dexter and
Sons of Anarchy to mainstream hits like
Grey's Anatomy and
Dancing with the Stars to guilty pleasures like
One Tree Hill and
The Vampire Diaries.
This provided quite a bit of the podcast discussion, which included talking about why
Heroes sucks, how HBO's
Bored to Death can improve for season 2, and why everyone should watch
The Vampire Diaries.
Heroes: I was asked to defend the fact that I still watch
Heroes despite its general lack of quality, and I couldn't really come up with an answer. This led to an interesting debate over who's to blame for
Heroes sucking and whether or not it's possible to save it.
Bored to Death: This underappreciated HBO ended its first season with a strong episode, but we also saw plenty of room for improvement with a second season.
The Vampire Diaries: Despite being an alleged former goth girl, DVR Diva Sandy Deane is not watching
The Vampire Diaries. I desperately tried to get her to tune in by explaining the many, many things that are great about this show.
It was a fun time, and the DVR Divas are great and funny ladies, so give our podcast a listen.
