Dennis Haysbert is gearing up to once again participate in the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament (MJCI), where he will compete against other personalities from the both the entertainment and sports industries.
The five-day event will kick off on Wednesday, January 16, at the Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas, with guest arrivals and registration, and practice rounds taking place during the day. At night, there will be a welcome reception hosted by Jordan Brand.
The MJCI Celebrity-Amateur Tournament will be held on January 17 and 18. The remaining two days will showcase the main MJCI tournament, as well as the After Play Awards Ceremony Presentation on the 18th green.

The Unit, on the golf course are such celebrities as Flex Alexander, Marcus Allen, Phil Gordon, Bill Gunthridge, John McEnroe, Lawrence Taylor, Stone Phillips,

Brothers & Sisters), Maury Povich, Albert Pujols, Smokey Robinson, Ahmad Rashad, Alan Thicke, Gabrielle Union (
The Night Stalker, The West Wing, Friends), Don Cheadle (

Grey’s Anatomy) and Mia Hamm.
Those who want to attend the event can go to Atlantis' guest services locations to avail of complimentary tickets. Visitors who do not have a ticket will not be allowed on the golf property.
All of the proceeds will be given to various charities, namely the Butch Kerzner Memorial Fund, Ronald McDonald Houses of North Carolina, The James Jordan Foundation, and the 40 or so additional charities represented by the celebrity participants.
Next week's tournament is not the first time that Dennis Haysbert has gotten involved in the MJCI.
The Unit star has been a familiar face at the charity event since its birth in 2000. Before last year's tournament began, the MJCI had reportedly raised close to $3 million overall.
