Kristen Holden-Reid Biography:

A native of Pickering, Ontario, Kristen Holden-Reid attended the Concordia University School of Business in Montreal. His first acting experience was with the title role in a production of Young Ivanhoe. His riding and fencing skills not only earned him the part, but also qualified him to become a member of the Canadian National Pentathlon Team and secured him a silver medal from the Pan American and Pan Pacific Pentathlon Championships. Now a much more successful actor, Holden-Reid can be seen in the Showtime miniseries, The Tudors. His other acting credits include appearing in the films Big Girl, Touch of Pink, Alice Blue, Icebound and Chasing Cain, and in the television series DeGrassi: The Next Generation and Paradise Falls.

William Compton is portrayed by Kristen Holden-Reid in the miniseries, The Tudors. William Compton, although not of royal descent, is one of King Henry the VIII’s most cherished companions. He is given control of the Manor of Woodburn and is the Chief Ranger of Windsor Great Park.
