Actor
Corey Feldman was born on July 16, 1971 in Chatsworth, California. As early as three years old, Feldman has appeared in a McDonald's commercial. After landing minor roles in some television shows, he appeared on his first film, the 1979 adventure thriller Time After Time. He then went to land starring roles in more movies, such as the 1984 comedy horror film Gremlins, the 1984 adventure movie The Goonies, and most notably, the 1986 adventure drama Stand By Me. The well-known duo of Feldman and actor Corey Haim starred in the 1987 horror The
Lost Boys. Known as “the two Coreys” the pair would go on to make a string of movies after finally parting ways two years later to focus on their individual careers.
During the 1990s, Feldman provided the voice of Donatello in two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle films. He also dipped his hand in music, releasing a moderately successful album “Love Left” in 1993 and another in 2002 with “Former Child Actor.” He had also tried his hand at performing in theater, with the 2005 staging of Fatal Attraction, a
Greek Tragedy, and, more recently, in My Date with Drew. Coincidentally, Feldman dated actress Drew Barrymore for two years from 1989 to 1990. His first wife is another actress Vanessa Marcil, whom he divorced in 1993.
His last marriage was documented in the season finale of the VH1 reality show
The Surreal Life on October 30, 2002 with Susie Sprague. The show features celebrities who are said to be past their primes and puts them in a Hollywood Hills mansion for two weeks. As if this were not enough, unforgiving cameras also follow their every move. Other than Feldman's marriage, other highlights of the season include a camping trip and an expedition to Las Vegas.
