'The Suite Life of Zack and Cody' Hits Greater China Via VOD
Last week, we reported that Snow Buddies had topped the DVD sales chart the previous week.  The straight-to-video Disney movie, a follow up to Air Buddies, featured the voice of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody's Dylan Sprouse.  On March 4, the Wilmington Memorial Library will have a special children's movie night screening of the movie at 6:30 in the evening.  The film showing will include free popcorn and lemonade.

In other news, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody has just been made available to residents of Greater China through video-on-demand or VOD.

On Monday, The Disney Channel launched its VOD service in the said region.  The service is now being offered by Hong Kong's Now TV platform.  Existing subscribers to the five-channel Disney package which costs HK$138 or $17.70 monthly, can now add the new VOD service for $1.92 each month.

Aside from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, other modern Disney favorites included in the newly-launched VOD service are Hannah Montana, That's So Raven, Kim Possible, Lilo & Stitch, American Dragon and Emperor's New School.

“Disney Channel SVOD greatly enhances the Disney television experience for kids who already enjoy Disney Channel and Playhouse Disney in Hong Kong,” Chris Williams, vice-president of business development at Walt Disney Television International (Asia Pacific), said.  “We are pleased to give our viewers this exclusive opportunity to access Disney Channel content whenever they wish to watch it.”

In still other news, Suite Life of Zack and Cody co-star, Ashley Tisdale, also part of the immensely popular High School Musical, has repeatedly denied rumors that she has, is or will be going under the knew anew, this time supposedly for a boob job.  Tisdale's representative told Us Weekly that reports alleging the 22-year old actress is considering getting her breasts augmented are “completely false.”  The speculations first arose after Tisdale underwent a nose job to correct a deviated septum.
