Ashley Tisdale, star of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and High School Musical, has a pretty good thing going with her acting career.  Yet, like many a Disney star, she's looking to take her pop music career to a higher level.  This November, Tisdale will release a DVD entitled, There's Something About Ashley: The Story of Headstrong which gives fans an inside look into her album of the same name.

The hour-long DVD features behind the scenes footage and a glimpse into the everyday life of the young star.  The footage on the DVD was taken not only from Tisdale's time in the studio recording Headstrong, but also the time she spent on the High School Musical nationwide tour.  The DVD has a release date of November 6th.

Ashley appears to be looking to shed that sweet, innocent Disney image with her new song, "He Said, She Said" which debuted on MTV's TRL this past week.  The video is about a girl who is out at the hottest club and meets the hottest guy, played by Desperate Housewives actor Josh Henderson. Next month, Tisdale will be performing the song on both Good Morning America and Live with Regis and Kelly.

Tisdale has also been promoting her album through the mobile web as well.  According to her MySpace page, fans can receive mobile updates including diary entries, photos, and news. They can also meet fellow fans and post on Ashley-centered message boards, right from their phone.

There's Something About Ashley: The Story of Headstrong will feature the music video for "He Said, She Said" as well as the videos for her other two singles, "Not Like That" and "Suddenly".  Her album debuted at number five on the Billboard charts back in February of this year and is available on Amazon and ITunes.  There is no talk yet of an upcoming tour to promote the album.
