Entering the entertainment industry at the tender age of six months, Dylan and Cole Sprouse have spent most of their life developing their acting career.  They made their movie debut in the 1999 film Big Daddy, starring alongside actor-comedian Adam Sandler.  Now, they lead the Disney hit series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and starring in the show has only made the twins even more popular.

Unlike some other youth stars, however, Dylan and Cole Sprouse have not allowed their fame to consume them, and amidst all the temptations of Hollywood, managed to maintain a commendable work ethic and sense of responsibility.

“To say [the Sprouse brothers] are ‘becoming popular' would be the understatement of the year,” movie producer Joe Reilly told the San Marcos Daily Record.  “They're huge.  But they are very mature for their age, very disciplined very smart and professional.  Their major fan base is anywhere from age seven to 16, and there's been hundreds of them showing up [on sets].  But the boys are professionals.  They handle it very well.”

Reilly certainly knows about droves of fans flocking to the set, as he is producing the twins' new film, The Kings of Appletown.  The movie, which is currently filming in New Braunfels, is a modern take on the Mark Twain classic, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

Of the fans who have been heading to the set, Reilly said, “[they] have been very good.  Nobody was crazy.  A lot of moms and parents came down with their kids.  There's a politeness in New Braunfels that's very nice.”

In the film, Dylan and Cole Sprouse, whose Suite Life series is currently on its third season on the Disney Channel, play cousins named Will and Clayton.  Zoey 101's Victoria Justice stars alongside the brothers.

The Kings of Appletown is being directed by Oscar-winning writer, producer and director Bobby Moresco, and is expected to reach completion in Spring 2008.

Fans of the Sprouse brothers can, for the meantime, catch them on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.  New episodes air every Saturday night on The Disney Channel.
