Cole Sprouse as Cody Martin

Cody Martin of Disney's The Suite Life of Zack and Cody is played by Cole Sprouse. The more intelligent and sensible version of his twin brother Zack, Cody is mature and sensitive enough to just play along with his brother's crazy antics. Unlike his girl-crazy brother, Cody is laid back and does not show much interest in them, but lights up when they come to him instead of Zack. He enjoys flirting with Barbara Brownstein, but they often end up competing to determine who is smarter. A blooming artist, Cody has a passion for baking and cooking, as well as miming and dancing.

During their early days in school, Cody and Zack did not belong to the popular crowd. Instead, they befriended Tapeworm and Max. Things changed, however, when the popular kids found out that Zack and Cody lived at the Tipton Hotel. They then befriended the twins to avail of free usage of the hotel facilities.

Cody once participated in a beauty contest at the Tipton because he liked Rebecca, one of the contestants and wanted to get her attention. However, Zack got into the competition because he wanted the prize money, with which he intended to buy a bike. Zack was uncovered by Cody, and the chaos caused Rebecca to get mad at Cody. However, their conflict was easily resolved and she gave him a kiss before she left.

Practicing his entrepreneurship, Zack once had Cody bake his delicious cookies to sell. However, Zack became more concerned with the money rather than the hard work that Cody had been putting into baking batches of cookies. Cody felt the pressure and got mad at Zack, who was too busy with his profit to realize how tired his brother was. The two got into a fight, and their mother helped the two reconcile after a talk.
