Ashley Tisdale may not be part of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody spin-off, but that doesn't mean she's got a lot of free time in her hands. In fact, the 22-year-old actress has a lot on her plate this 2008, as she is still working on her Disney projects and feature film endeavors.

Tisdale is slated to reprise her role as Sharpay Evans in the third installment of the phenomenal Disney hit film High School Musical, which begins filming on April 1st. She's still working on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and has also lent her voice to Candice Flynn of Disney's new cartoon series, Phineas and Ferb. Most recently, she's busy working on her new feature film entitled They Came From Upstairs.

Co-produced by Joe Hartwick Jr. and Marc S. Fischer, They Came From Upstairs is the first feature film in which Tisdale plays the lead character. The film is set in an old villa, which was actually transported from Remuera to a farm in North Auckland.

Tisdale recently headed down to New Zealand to shoot the film, in which she gets to sport dark hair. Despite being far away from home, it seems that her fans have found a way to get to her, as she encountered them while she was filming the movie.

"There were, like, 20 guys around my age, standing on the side," Ashley Tisdale said during a break from filming at Narrow Neck Beach. "I came out and they were like, whistling and stuff. I don't really have that a lot. I usually get the young kids but seeing, like, a bunch of guys waiting, I was like, 'Wow, that's awesome, I don't know what to do. Should I go over and talk to them?'"

Her fans aren't the only ones amusing The Suite Life star. While in New Zealand, Tisdale has also discovered her new favorite fruit—the kiwi.

"Kiwis are awesome," Tisdale gushed. "They're really cute, too."

It seems like all work for the busy young singer/actress, who will be in New Zealand with her mother until mid-March before she returns to Los Angeles. However, she hopes to catch her favorite Auckland band, Goodnight Nurse at one of their gigs.

"I saw their music video on MTV," Tisdale said. "I absolutely love them, I'm a really big fan."

They Came From Upstairs co-stars Doris Roberts from Everybody Loves Raymond and is produced by Barry Josephson, who is also responsible for films Enchanted and Men In Black.
