Are you a
Sopranos’ fan? If you are, you might as well put your
Soprano knowledge into good use. Who knows, you might even win $5,000. In line with the near closing of the long-running mob drama,
The Sopranos, a contest emerges to satisfy countless
Soprano fans in the U.S. The game, which promises to give $5,000 to the winner, comes in the form of a sweepstakes scavenger hunt.
The Sopranos Ultimate Hits is an interactive scavenger hunt that tests the fans’ familiarity and understanding of The Sopranos. The game challenges ComCast users to compete against the clock and explore through a city dump engulfed with symbolic clues that relate back to the popular and notable hits from the action-packed series. All players must be able to find and correctly identify clues that represent the killer, weapon, location and victim from 8 distinctly recognizable hits.
The game makes use of a garbage dump, which serves as one of the creative features of the interactive application. This also brings in a new twist on the concept “taking out the trash.”
The game application has a Flash 8 enabled interface that includes a multiple game board layers, which gives the players the opportunity to investigate and discover the garbage scene by zooming and spanning left to right. In addition, the said game includes a “send to a friend” function, scoreboard and saving utilities.
But if this isn’t your cup of tea, you can always opt for
The Sopranos TV-A-DAY-GIVEAWAY promo. Without any purchase, you can join the “sweepstakes” as long as you are 18 years of age and residing in a household with a Comcast.net subscription. To enter the contest, just visit The Soprano’s official website under HBO. One draw will be conducted per day until May 9. Each draw entails a Sharp 32-inch HDTV, approximately worth $750 each.
