Before embarking on an acting career, Tony Sirico, who was born in Brooklyn, New York, has done jail time for doing hold ups on several night clubs during the 60s and the 70s. His interest to act was perked by watching a performance of theater group that played for the prison. When he finished his sentence, he took on gangster roles from movies such as Gangsters, Goodfellas, Cop Land, and Mickey Blue Eyes.
