Ray Abruzzo Biography:
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Ray Abruzzo is remembered for his roles in television. After moving to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career, he garnered roles in popular shows like LA Law, Dynasty, NYPD Blue, Touched By An Angel, and Doogie Howser M.D. Ray also appeared for six seasons on the Emmy award-winning law series The Practice as Detective Mike McGuire. Aside from the small screen, he was also busy with theater, participating as actor or director in plays such as Italian American Reconciliation.
Little Carmine Lupertazzi is played by Ray Abruzzo on HBO's hit drama series The Sopranos. Little Carmine is the son of Carmine Sr., the chief rival of
Johnny Sack , the underboss of the New York crime family. When Carmine Sr. died without naming his successor as New York don, his son and Johnny engaged in bloody rivalry, killing each other's soldiers to establish their turf. Eventually, Little Carmine retreated to Miami, realizing that he doesn't have the guts to lead the New York mob.
