Danielle Sofer is played by Catherine Dent on FX Network's police drama series The Shield. An aspiring detective, patrol officer Danny Sofer is engaged in an on-and-off affair with Vic Mackey. She was assigned to become the mentor for Julien Lowe even though the two didn't get along very well.
