After making a cameo appearance on The Secret Life of the American Teenager's mid season finale episode entitled "Just Say No," which aired on September 9, 2008, Dancing with the Stars champ Shawn Johnson is set to return on the ABC Family drama.

For her second appearance, according to TV Guide, Johnson will play a student at Ulysses S. Grant High School who interacts with Jack (Greg Finley) and Grace (Megan Park) in an episode scheduled to air in early 2010. She is scheduled to film her appearance on August 3, just a few days before the Teen Choice Awards, where she's nominated in three categories and is serving as a presenter.

Evidently, the 17-year-old athlete went through DVDs of The Secret Life of the American Teenager's very first episodes while she trained for the 2008 Summer Olympics, where she went on to win four medals. The Olympic gold medalist then became a household name after joining the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars where was paired with professional dancer Mark Ballas and became youngest competitor and winner in the history of the show.

There is no word yet if Johnson will participate in the next Olympic games but, at least, she already has a clear direction when it comes to her college options. As reported previously, she's choosing between UCLA and Stanford, and is planning to coach for their teams. Moreover, the Dancing with the Stars champ has been offered a lead role in a kids flick, and other book and TV show projects. But one thing she isn't ready to give up just yet is dancing.

"I would love to keep dancing. Mark [Ballas] and I have events we're going to dance at. There's a winter tour we might do and stuff next season. It just depends, but I would love to keep dancing," Johnson told TV Guide back in May.
