Bruce French Biography:

Born on July 4, 1945 in Reinbeck, Iowa, Bruce French was a student of the University of Iowa, where he majored in speech and theater. French dedicated two years, eight months and twenty-eight days of his life to the Army, during which he was once shortly stationed at Vietnam. When he was discharged, French went to New York in order to study at the NYU School of the Arts. As a thespian, he has worked with several theater companies such as Ahmanson Theatre, The Mark Taper Forum, South Coast Repertory and The Antaeus Company. His television credits include House, Bones, NCIS, The Practice, Ally McBeal and The West Wing, while his film credits include Mission Impossible III, Thank You For Smoking, Mr. Deeds and Enough. In 1991, he tied the knot with actress and singer Eileen Barnett. Currently, he is working on his role on the FX television series, The Riches.

Jim Burns is portrayed by Bruce French on the series, The Riches. Jim is a former engineer and the husband of Nina. For about five years now, they have not had a healthy sex life, and Jim tries to keep preoccupied by breeding and growing alpacas.
