The Real World

I'm a little bit of a fight with MTV.  On Monday night, some friends and I caught the premiere episode of Legally Blonde: The Search For The Next Elle Woods when a commercial for The Real World aired.  In it, they said right out that Greg gets kicked off the show, leaving no mystery about tonight's episode.  We also didn't have to wonder what happened when Joey came home from rehab, since we all pretty much figured that the roomies wouldn't have the common sense or tact to keep their binges to a minimum.  Brianna headed home to Pennsylvania again to face the music in her court case and Will tried to start a showmance with a Real World alum!

Well, karma's a bitch, isn't it, Greg?  After weeks of playing pranks on his roommates and stirring up blowouts in the house, Greg finally got what was coming to him.   He's been blowing off his responsibilities with the improv comedy group, which is a mandatory job for each cast member.  Things could be worse, you know.  You could be hiking in the wilderness with the Denver cast.  When Greg blew off work for a third time, his boss had had enough and put her foot down.  She fired him in front of the entire house and there was an awkward silence as not one person stood up for him.  Greg headed home to pack his things, whining on the phone to his mother that it was unfair.  With Greg gone for good, will there be a replacement?

Joey returned home from rehab and not one roommate stayed home with him on his first night, with the exception of Sarah.  Joey felt, understandably, abandoned and disrespected.  I have no idea how he's going to make it in the house with these people around him.  Everyone tried to express that they felt for him, but not so much as to cause them to change even one thing about their social lives.  It seems The Real World is headed towards losing a second roommate in a short amount of time.

Brianna went home to deal with her court case.  Not much came of it but she did tell Sarah that she wouldn't have to serve any jail time.  While out with his roomies, Will ran into Key West cast members Janelle and Zach.  Will was immediately taken with Janelle, who offered to help him with his music career.  He stated that he already has more than just a kindergarten crush on her (which he once had on Sarah).  Only time will tell if Janelle is really interested in Will or a little more camera time.
