The Real World: Hollywood has already lost 2 cast members this season and with the finale in sight, it doesn’t seem a new roomie will be joining the show. The first casualty was Greg, who put his modeling career ahead of his job. According to Real World rules, if you lose your job, you lose your spot on the show and that’s exactly what happened. The second to go was Joey who, after getting out of rehab, came to the conclusion that The Real World house was probably the last place he should be. Michael Martin, of the MM Agency, represents many Real World cast members, booking them for appearances and special events. He spoke to BuddyTV this weekend about how getting kicked off or quitting the show can affect a cast member down the road

Martin represents Joey Kovar, but not Greg Halstead. Still, that didn’t stop him from sounding off on Greg’s dismissal. Martin says he didn't agree with Greg being sent home and that being fired from the job may not have been the reason that he left. “Will made a public comment online that Greg had a conflict with production which very likely lead to a minimal excuse for dismissing him,” he told BuddyTV. He also went on to say that he feels that, like many people, Joey did the right thing by going home to take care of himself.

It doesn’t seem to matter one way or the other if a cast member makes it to the finale or leaves beforehand. In terms of being able to book them afterwards, Martin said, “I think it really comes down to the cast member themselves. It’s how they leave the show that determines their marketability. The key is to leave the show late, as the all important elements for them to gain appearance interest is in place. They need to make sure they have their ‘TV time’ which is why you see so many re-up for the challenges.”

As for which Hollywood cast member will be the most popular for appearances, Martin has known his answer since day 1. “My sense from the beginning, which had be reaffirmed throughout the season, especially of late, is Joey. He has that high appeal with his looks, personality, and addiction recovery for both the bars and college lectures. He is a great person to deal with in my experience and very professional.” Though the Hollywood cast members are hoping to become rich and famous, it seems they’re really just destined to go the route of every other Real Worlder before them and book bar and college appearances.
