Last week, BuddyTV gave you an overview of The Real World's online voting contest that will determine which hopeful will earn a spot as one of the seven housemates for the upcoming season 22.  As mentioned, the first round which started on Wednesday, October 8, is called Meet and Greet, which gives interested participants a chance to introduce themselves.  You can read more about this in this article.  With nearly two weeks left before the end of the first round, here's a heads up for what's in store for the next round.

If you're one of the top 50 percent moving onto the next round, then get ready for Narrowing it Down, the second round of The Real World's online voting contest.  This phase kicks off on Tuesday, November 12 and will last until 9pm ET/PT Sunday, November 23.

Narrowing it Down requires you to upload at least two new videos which cover your ultimate career goal.  You also need to state whether you would pursue this goal while on the show and how. Moreover, the videos should also describe and show a special skill you have that sets you apart from the rest of the other applicants.

Last but not the least, this round requires you to write at least one blog detailing your worst fear and how you think you would respond if you were forced to face this fear.

Meanwhile, this is just the second of four rounds applicants must go through in order to get the coveted online spot so Real World fans will just have to stay tuned for more updates on the next two rounds.  As for the remaining six housemates, producers will be holding casting calls for the rest of the month.

First broadcast in 1992, The Real World is the longest-running program in MTV history.  The show focuses on the lives of seven strangers who audition to live together in a house for several months, as cameras record their interpersonal relationships.
