Parisa Montarazan hails from the United States, and she appears as a cast member in the 19th season of MTV’s reality television series, The Real World: Sydney. She was 21 years old during the time of the show’s filming. A true-blooded New Yorker and native of the Big Apple, she was raised by devoted Muslim parents into an intelligent and considerate young woman, and she grew up with their loving guidance. However, they chose not to support her ambition of becoming a songwriter and singer, for practicality’s sake. In light of this, she kept up a flawless grade point average in school, and then subsequently pursued a career in business management in order to keep her parents happy.
It was only much later on that she chose to set aside their expectations and hopes in favor of her own, once again setting off on the path of entertainment stardom in order to prove her capability both to herself and to her family. While she seems quite different and provides a marked contrast to the other fun-loving girls on the show, she’s determined to showcase both her brains and beauty, as well as her ability to sing.
