Melanie Silcott was featured as a member of the cast in the fifteenth season of the hit MTV reality television series The Real World, which was set in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was born on December 22, 1981, and decided as she grew older that her life’s goal was to become an English teacher for high schools. Silcott went on to pursue higher learning at the University of California at Santa Cruz. She has had a long-term relationship with a man named Andy, which eventually blossomed into a full romance. Among the things she enjoys doing in her free time are dancing and partying.
Silcott has described herself as being spontaneous, possessing a wild streak, and a believer in following her heart in order to find happiness. Her other passions in life include politics, art, music, animals, photography, and the beach. Silcott’s dream vacation spot is in Thailand, mainly because she admires the cultural history and beauty of the place. She is also a fan of David Bowie, whom she considers not just a greatly talented musician, but also someone who’s intriguing and well-educated. Her favorite holidays are Halloween and Christmas, and her favorite films are both volumes of the Kill Bill series.
