Frank Roessler was featured as a member of the cast in the twelfth season of the MTV reality television series The Real World, which was set in Las Vegas. He was 22 years old during the time of the show and originally hailed from the small town of Lewisburg in Pennsylvania. Roessler was brought up by a traditional, nuclear family, along with all the comfortable advantages and expectations of responsibility that came with it. His father was in charge of operating and managing their own local pizza parlor, which was owned by their family. On the other hand, his mother stayed at home and worked hard to tend to her offspring’s needs.

Roessler remembers how his mother was always prepared in the kitchen with an ample supply of snack foods for him and his friends each time they came home from school or dropped by. When he eventually departed to go on and pursue higher learning at college, Roessler learned how to become more independent and to watch out for his own interests, as well as finally making sense of the kind of person he truly wanted to become. He has been described as having an open and amiable personality, as well as being talkative.
