The Real Housewives of Orange County just wrapped up its fifth season but for Gretchen Rossi, the drama is far from over. This week alone, she became the subject of controversy and was served with legal papers right in the middle of a fashion show at The Grove in Los Angeles.

Who is suing Gretchen and why? According to Radaronline, Gretchen's ex-lover Jay Photoglou filed the lawsuit against The Real Housewives of Orange County star for libel and slander, among other things. Gretchen was allegedly "intimately involved with Photoglou the entire time the show filmed Rossi's first season," during which she was engaged to Jeff Beitzel, who died in September 2008.

Why in the middle of a fashion show? Jay Photoglou has been trying to get a hold of his ex girlfriend for days but to no avail. "She wasn't easy to serve, but she's been served," Photoglou told RadarOnline. "I'm looking forward to going to court."

In other news, LALATE is reporting that Gretchen Rossi will be staying on The Real Housewives of Orange County until 2012. Bystanders have overheard the reality TV starlet "confirming her participation in at least two more seasons of Real Housewives" last weekend in San Diego where she was also spotted with boyfriend Slade Smiley.

So does this mean Slade and Gretchen are still going strong? Much to the dismay of the other housewives and fans, it appears that Gretchen and Slade are still very much an item. The couple reportedly spent the weekend at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego and dined at the Island Prime restaurant before stopping by 207 nightclub. They were also recently spotted making out in Las Vegas, where they came out to celebrate the premiere of The CW's Fly Girls.
