The Real Housewives of Orange County: Where's the Drama?

It seemed that when Jeana left The Real Housewives of Orange County, she also sucked the life out of it. Not that she's full of drama. Jeana was actually more grounded compared to the other housewives, making her a favorite among fans of the Bravo docu drama. But since she's gone, I was hoping for the show to step it up a notch and not leave me bored and jaded.

Nothing significant really happened in "It's All About Choices," the fourth episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County's fifth season. Vicki threw a barbecue and invited Tamra's family, as well as Chris, who flew in from another country just to meet Vicki's daughter. Apparently, Vicki had been setting up her daughter for several months now since she and her boyfriend Colby broke up last year.

Tamra thought that playing matchmaker to your daughter and to someone from out of state was awkward, Vicki thought her daughter and Chris hit it off, Brianna was uncomfortable with the set-up while I was just happy to see Chris leave.

As expected, there was still no resolution to the Simon-Ryan feud. Simon said he wants Ryan to apologize on Facebook for the things he said about him but Ryan remains unapologetic. Elsewhere, Gretchen visited Jeff's children in Michigan for the first time since Jeff's funeral.

Alexis, whom I was expecting to bring more substance this season, was just concerned about her looks and her workout schedule, while her husband Jim was just was frustrating to watch. In the end, we learned that Ryan is going to jail for five days instead of doing community service.
